We look forward to your visit to Holiday Memories Farm in West River, Maryland.

Before you visit for our Real FarmHERS experiences and farm tours, please complete a Farm Visit Animal Interaction Waiver.

Safety, health, and clear communication are crucial to our farm operations. We appreciate your cooperation in ensuring that your visit is enjoyable and safe.

REAL FARMHERS FARM VISIT & ANIMAL INTERACTION LIABILITY WAIVER

Required for all guests interacting with Real FarmHERS Barnyard Animals. We appreciate your time in completing this required form.

ACKNOWLEDGMENT OF RISK

I understand that visiting a farm and interacting with animals involves inherent risks including but not limited to:

Animal kicks, head-butts, horn or sudden movement.

Animal bites or scratches.

Slips, trips, or falls on uneven terrain.

Contact with farm equipment, fencing, or natural farm elements.

Allergic reactions to animals, hay, straw, feed or environmental factors.

I accept responsibility for managing any personal allergies or sensitivities.

I acknowledge that agricultural environments cannot be completely controlled and that these risks are part of visiting a working farm.

ASSUMPTION OF RISK

This includes activities such as:

Any form of animal interaction, directly or indirectly.
Entering, existing, and exiting the animal enclosures and surrounding farm elements throughout the farm property.

I voluntarily assume all risks associated with visiting the farm and participating in any activities offered by Real FarmHERS at Holiday Memories Farm.

RELEASE OF LIABILITY

In consideration for being permitted to enter the property and participate in farm activities, I agree to release and hold harmless: Real FarmHERS, Holiday Memories Farm, property owners, operators, staff, volunteers, and affiliated partners from any liability for injuries, damages, or losses resulting from participation in farm activities, except in cases of gross negligence.

ANIMAL INTERACTION AGREEMENT

I understand that animals can behave unpredictably.

I agree to:

• follow all instructions provided by staff.

• handle animals gently and respectfully.

• avoid chasing, grabbing, or startling animals

• supervise children at all times during animal interaction.

If staff determines that behavior is unsafe for animals or guests, interaction may be discontinued.

CHILDREN

I understand that children must remain under the supervision of a parent or guardian at all times while visiting the farm.

I accept responsibility for the safety and conduct of any minors accompanying me.

By signing below, I confirm that I have read and understood this waiver and voluntarily agree to its terms.
